Regulatory Compliance
Charter has in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements related to transportation and disposal of hazardous, toxic, and radioactive wastes. We routinely conduct audits of disposal facilities to ensure compliance with
EPA requirements. We also have in-house regulatory specialists with expertise in RCRA, TSCA, and DOT regulations, land disposal restrictions, and permitting requirements, mitigating risk to our clients.

Transportation
Charter has the resources to meet our customers’ diverse transportation requirements, including
truck, truck-to-rail, direct rail, and barge. Through our affiliated company, AmeriTech Environmental Services, Charter
has access to a comprehensive transportation fleet including trailer dumps, roll-off containers, vacuum boxes, and other specialty containers. AmeriTech is a licensed hazardous waste transportation company with licenses to
haul wastes throughout the U.S. and Canada, including
TSCA and RCRA wastes, low-level radiological waste, and demolition debris.
State-of-the-Art Equipment
To maximize regulatory compliance, cost, and execution efficiencies, our transportation vehicles are outfitted with GPS and on-board scales. These state-of-the-art capabilities allow us to control load weights, track waste,
and coordinate truck routes, truck rotations, and schedules on a real-time basis.
Cradle-to-Grave Tracking
Through our cradle-to-grave waste tracking system, Charter controls and monitors all aspects of waste transportation and disposal. This electronic system provides comprehensive waste profiling and manifest generation/tracking
features, including customized prompts to alert our waste management specialists of critical deadlines and reporting requirements.
